Modular High Temperature System (NIAR)

959kW, multi-zone infrared heating system designed to replicate aerospace thermal environments for materials testing, structural validation, and flight condition simulation. The system delivers high density heat flux using PCS Model 5203 high temperature infrared heaters, and heater modularity provides the ability to test a variety of product geometries.

System Overview:

  • 30 independently controlled heating zones
  • Each zone equipped with Model 5203 infrared emitters, capable of delivering >520 W/in² of heat flux
  • Flexible mounting architecture accommodates test articles of varying shapes, sizes, and orientations

  • Individual zone control with independent power regulation and monitoring
  • Advanced ramp/soak recipe programming for each zone
